THE RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK? IMAGINE THE
POSSIBILITIES!!
As some of you
may have seen on our "Breaking
News Page" we have a link to an Article about the man that actually
inspired the "Raiders Of The Lost Ark" movie, Dr. Vendyl Jones, who
now has sanction from a supposedly unknown Kabbalist to go after the Ark of the
Covenant, in the location where he believes it is. This to me has enormous
implications, if the Ark does actually sit where he says it sits, and what the
implications of the world scene would be, should he actually unearth the Ark at
this time. Surely the world in the middle east will be turned upside down!
WHAT DOES IT ALL MEAN?
We have said,
concerning the Reconvened Sanhedrin, that this could be the continued
fulfillment of the "Dry Bones" Prophecy of Ezekiel Chapter 37, and the
reason for this thinking, is that since its re-establishment as a nation in
1948, Israel has been primarily a secular Government, and hence, a secular
nation, since that time. We have been waiting for a spiritual awakening of
this nation since that time, and in spite of the Evangelical American Christian
opinion that the reconvened Sanhedrin is nothing more than a "self
styled" version of its ancient self, we see a very significant and
extraordinary set of events unfolding in Israel. What events?
-
The very Reconvening of this
Body of men, is extraordinary!
-
The Sanhedrin, at great risk to
itself, has been speaking out boldly against the disengagement plan of the
Sharon Government!
-
That is significant because of
all groups, the Sanhedrin, who we know in ancient times put The Lord Jesus
to Death, is actually standing on the side of the promises of God, rather
than placating its leadership, as the version in Jesus' day did!
-
We have known for years,
that there can not be a revival of the Jewish nation, or an opportunity to
even show them the Gospel of Jesus Christ, until they at least return to
their original heritage of following the Old Testament law of God, in order
for them to see the promises fulfilled in Jesus Christ's life!
-
It is a VERY significant
possibility, that the discovery of the Ark of the Covenant could in fact
empower the Sanhedrin to lead the People of Israel back to their Spiritual
roots, where God is the primary consideration of all of Israel from day to
day and hour to hour! In their decisions as a nation, in their
decisions as a unified and once again spiritual body!
If anyone thinks
those are not causes to sit up and take notice, I would question their level of
value placed on the nation of Israel in the scriptures, and even in their
awareness of the incredible series of events that have made up the world
political stage in the past 5 years. The timing of this event is the
single most important factor that makes me think this could be more than just
another speculative hoax!
Some might think
to themselves, disagreeing with the disengagement plan could not be of God,
because it would hinder the peace initiative of the "Roadmap To
Peace". Although you may be correct in your notion that it would
hinder the Roadmap, I would beg to differ on whether or not it is against the
purposes of God. The disengagement plan of the Roadmap to Peace, forces
Israel to give up land that was actually promised to them by God. If that
is the case I would argue, that the primary people in Israel who are honoring
God, and who are in fact working to follow his promises, and in obedience not
give that which was promised to them to another nation, are in fact the
reconvened Sanhedrin!
THE REBUILDING OF THE TEMPLE?
And for those who
see no significance beyond the items I listed above, there is also the question
of where the Ark would be placed. Who in their right mind would even try
to say that the Ark doesn't belong to Israel, and who in his right mind would
fail to recognize that the Temple would have to be rebuilt to house it?
Other than the Muslims, who always seem to have a way of claiming themselves as
the rightful heirs of God's promises, I don't think ownership will be
questioned.
This is an
extraordinary development on the world stage, and lends such chilling credence
to all of the statements that we have made on this site about the Lord's pending
arrival, that it gives me chills to think of it! Think of the
possibilities of what this could bring about in world affairs, and in the
affairs surrounding the holy land! What possibilities?
-
The possibility that Israel
would again become a nation focused primarily on the promises of God.
-
The government of Ariel Sharon
would most likely cease to exist.
-
The breathed life of the Spirit
element of the dry bones prophecy fulfilled! (The Bones and Sinew part
of the prophecy was most likely fulfilled in 1948).
-
The world would acknowledge for
the first time since Israel became a nation, that it had in fact forgotten
its identity, and that that identity has been revived.
-
This awakening would give way to
a massive conversion among the Jewish people, who after returning to the
scriptures, begin to see the fulfillments of Messianic prophecy in the life
of Jesus Christ! Certainly a precursor to the coming of the Lord!!
WE SHALL SEE!
Will Dr Vendyl
Jones unearth the Ark of the Covenant for the Jewish people? Is this
IT? Are we witnessing the continued fulfillment of the dry bones prophecy
of Ezekiel 37? Is this a hoax? Is Jones mistaken in his calculation
as to where the Ark rests? I don't know the answers to these questions,
but I know that if the answers are YES, and this is not a hoax, then I will
begin to LITERALLY look to the sky, for if it is true, the coming of Our Eternal
King and Lord is literally right around the corner! EVEN SO, COME LORD
JESUS COME!
I will post Ezekiel Chapter 37 here
for folks to read and ponder....
Ezekiel 37:1 The hand of the LORD was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones,
2 And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry.
3 And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord GOD, thou
knows.
4 Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the LORD.
5 Thus saith the Lord GOD unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live:
6 And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
7 So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone.
8 And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them.
9 Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.
10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.
11 Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts.
12 Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.
13 And ye shall know that I am the LORD, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves,
14 And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the LORD have spoken it, and performed it, saith the LORD.
15 The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,
16 Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel his companions:
17 And join them one to another into one stick; and they shall become one in thine hand.
18 And when the children of thy people shall speak unto thee, saying, Wilt thou not
show us what thou meanest by these?
19 Say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, even with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand.
20 And the sticks whereon thou write shall be in thine hand before their eyes.
21 And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land:
22 And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all:
23 Neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions: but I will save them out of all their dwelling places, wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their God.
24 And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them.
25 And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their children's children for ever: and my servant David shall be their prince for ever.
26 Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore.
27 My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
28 And the heathen shall know that I the LORD do sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore.
In Christ,
